If you're a buyer
» Visit the Harp listings page for the current list of harps for sale
» The harp listings are updated frequently - so please check frequently
» To place a 'harp wanted' advertisement, email your advertisement to Harpgear.net
If you're a seller
» Email your advertisement to Harpgear.net. It should not be more than 30/40 words
» Please do not include photographs, sound clips or any other attachments, as they will not be used
» Harpgear.net reserves the right to shorten or edit advertisements, as necessary

» Just to reiterate - this is a totally free service for buyers and sellers
» Only the name you give and general location (e.g. county or city), and your email address will be posted on the Harpgear.net website (also see 'Security notice', below)
» Potential buyers will email you directly for further information
» Your email address and advertisement will be copied directly into the website, so it is your responsibility to provide accurate information (also see 'Security notice', below)
» Please email Harpgear.net when you want your advertisement removed
» From time to time, Harpgear.net may contact advertisers by group email, using the email addresses published on the Harp listings page, to check if they wish to remain on the list
» After an extended period on the list, or if Harpgear.net is unable to contact advertisers, Harpgear.net reserves the right to remove advertisements from the list
Security notice
» Your email address will not actually appear on the website, but will be encoded in hexadecimal code. This means that the potential buyer can click on the link, and it will automatically open the email program, and prepare an email
» The hexadecimal encoding makes it very difficult for spammers to acquire your email address
» However, it is possible that fraudulent approaches might be made to you via your email address
» Be aware that it is your responsibility to check the status of people who make contact with you
It should not be too difficult for you to discover whether your buyer knows anything about harps and harpists
» You should never reveal personal details to anyone, until you are satisfied with the details of the person who has contacted you
» In any event, you should never reveal your banking details
